Jaya Morolia, Amity University, Jaipur

ABSTRACT

It is well known that objects that appear identical from a range may not be the same when viewed up close. Implementing the very same idea to the relationship between the USA (United States) and India in the context of the "Right to Equality," it is noted that, in addition to sharing similarities in the language used to describe the clause, both nations vary in how the right is implemented. This very same right is interpreted differently in both of these diverse ethnic and ideological communities, which also have democratic forms of governance and comparative legal systems. The range of freedom differs between the two nations. This research paper aims at spreading awareness about the right to equality and how the right is different in the US than in India.

Keywords: Indian constitution; equality; Fundamental; right to equality.
