Aryendra Singh, Amity law school, Noida

Introduction

Privacy is the right to be left alone, the freedom from intrusion and the ability to express ourselves selectively, that is to choose whether to share or not information about our life, habits, acts. It’s a right with which we all our born with as it is the heart of our liberty.

It is a necessary right because we humans try to project an image of ourselves in the society and when private information is made public and it’s the information that we are ashamed about, it injures our personality, our social standing and how we are perceived.
