Ethical Concerns In The Age Of Growing Artificial Intelligence

ABSTRACT


Artificial Intelligence is growing rapidly and a large number of people are relying on it in their everyday life. As the use of artificial intelligence grows exponentially every year, there is a potential future where AI perpetuates injustice, deepens social divisions, and becomes a tool to violate or deny any human rights. But there’s another possibility where AI can be used to boost solution to difficult challenges. This research paper focuses on the ethical concerns which should be looked into in the era where it is estimate that we will develop artificial super intelligence by the end of 2040. This research paper first explain that what is Artificial Intelligence, its classification and the stages of development it will go through. Then it explains about what are the benefits of AI and what are the Atrocious impact of AI on society by the help of various case studies. Then it talks about that how AI is developed by rich and powerful people but it exploits poor and vulnerable groups which will eventually lead to a capitalist society and it will pave its way through inequality and class division to class conflict and chaos. Then this paper discusses that why ethics is important while using AI followed by intersection of AI and human right and concluding it by measures, we can take to prevent the misuse of AI.
