Emerging Copyright Issues In E-Commerce

ABSTRACT

The Ability of the web to reach a global audience comes with a number of legal concerns, many of which are related to Intellectual property. Today the Companies are facing an incredible array of Intellectual Property issues, particularly when conducting business online. The ability to commit and detect copyright infringement has substantially risen because of the use of internet. Due to the global nature of conducting business online, authorities intending to implement their laws in the conventional manner or to expand legal authority over transactional networks confront numerous difficulties. This article presents a summary of certain copyright issues and associated challenges in electronic commerce.
