ABSTRACT
India tops the world when it comes to acid assault cases, and no matter what the moves made by the "Indian Government and the Supreme Court of India", the bad behavior is on the climb. This addition can be credited to the male driven way of thinking that is dominating in India and to India's deficient with regards to general arrangement of regulations, which doesn't convey useful answers for individuals being referred to. There has been a number of incidents which shook the conscience of the entire nation and after a series of cases, some landmark judgements and prohibition on the sale of the acids the cases of acid attacks are still found in the nation because it is still an easy job for the people to get the acids from the market. The author tries to navigate through the consequences the victim has to go through once the heinous act is done. This article will talk about “the commonness of acid attacks in India, intentions behind the assaults, outcomes on casualties, and deficiencies in measures took on to forestall the wrongdoing and give equity and justice to casualties.”
