Domestic Violence Against Women: A Social Legal Analysis

ABSTRACT

Domestic violence is an act in which the person shows aggressive behavior at home which includes all physical, sexual, monetary and mental activities that impact someone else. This is one of the most common types of violence experienced by ladies all over the world. Domestic violence usually happens between husband and wife. It is learned that the violence can take various forms which can harm or destroy an individual with insecurities. It was recorded that the quantity of violations against ladies was exceptionally high during the covid-19 epidemic with lockdown systems. There are existing legal provisions that are now kept in placed to protect and safe guard affected women and those vulnerable groups. The introduction of laws and regulations for the violence against women played vital role in shaping the society into right frame. Therefore, understanding, talking and disseminating right information regarding violence against women have turned out important to save lives to save future.
