Priyanka Priyadarshini Nayak, National Law University of Odisha

Abstract

The article aims to acutely evaluate the current India-China boundary dispute issue and its essence. This ongoing debate is basically on the issues based on the future possibility and the prime challenges encountered by bilateral connections. The India-China relationship has seen more disharmony, suspicion, and distrust from the last six decades than friendly and harmonic relations. Such misgivings increased over the years because of doubtful ideas or discussions regarding the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The challenges have constantly expanded the gap between both parties, which becomes difficult to reach a common understanding of some reasonable concerns along with the Sino-India border matter. Both the countries made a considerable amount of effort to fill the gap and develop the economy with mutual understanding. Undoubtedly, both the Asian countries have appeared as the two fastest widening economy and their binational link to the utmost scale has assumed worldwide and critical value. It would be momentous to contemplate the Sino-India encounter in the past and; associate it with the ongoing heat debate, which will help probe the actual problem with the bilateral cooperation. The most complicated relationship has many definite and unfavourable indications. However, one should not conclude that both India-China has always been a disagreement. It would show both the whole/overall edge of both nations. These two nations have, by directly or obliquely, put themselves at the root of acute friction. It would try to give a clear idea of the issue of the border dispute.
