ABSTRACT

Today, data are a resource that is more important than ever for everyone we can imagine. Recent technological advancements and trends, such as sensor systems, IoT, cloud computing, and data analytics, are making it easier to gather data in a widespread, efficient, and effective manner. However, data security and privacy are important for data to be used to their full potential. Despite the fact that data security and privacy have been extensively researched over the last years, we now confront new and significant data security and privacy concerns. Some of those issues stem from the necessity to balance privacy with the usage of data for security in apps and the growth in privacy concerns around the use of data . Data exposure has expanded and security has become more challenging due to the growth of web-based applications and information systems, as well as contemporary trends like cloud computing and outsourced data management. In this article we will discuss the relevant concepts and challenges that are associated with data privacy and security in the age of digital era .
