ABSTRACT

With the advancement of technology, people have become dependent on electronic devices for their day-to-day activities. As internet is easy to use, cheap and easily accessible, it is used by all people for their bank transactions, business, buying medicines, groceries, books, finding a groom or a bride, etc. The right of the data users is now under threat if not used cautiously. Digital technologies are not the future anymore but our reality and modern states primarily focus on developing competitive technologies. Therefore, it is important to discuss the state-of-the-art issues and define further steps in regulation of digital technologies. Absence of law to regulate digital technologies like Internet of Things (IOT) give ample opportunity to fraudsters to infringe the private data of the netizens.
