ABSTRACT:

The advent of science and technology has permitted the adaption of human intelligence into its computerised platform for logical examination of any event. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the transfer of human intelligence to machines. AI has been enhancing human existence since its birth. With the help of these intelligent devices, human potentials will be improved in a variety of sectors. In the last two decades, there has been a tremendous advancement in this area of AI, giving rise to expert systems. AI is having a significant impact on several industries such as business, engineering, law, medical, research, weather forecasting, and so on to improve the quality and efficiency of our daily lives and solve complicated problems.

AI has been playing an emerging role in the legal area for several decades and will undoubtedly have an impact on legal practises in the next years. AI has the potential to assess legal material based on semantics and create legal predictions from a legal data collection, assisting the court system in automation and enhancing efficiency within a reasonable budget. For a better understanding of the notion, the writers of this research conducted a relevant survey in this field.
