Critical Analysis Of Institutional Arbitration In India

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to critically study the effectiveness, need and drawback of Indian institutional arbitration as a method of dispute resolution. Institutional arbitration refers to the use of arbitration services provided by arbitration institutions, such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The paper aims to analyse the institutional arbitration process in India, the role of arbitration institutions, and the impact of Covid-19 on institutional arbitration. The study will also examine the of institutional arbitration as compared to other dispute resolution methods, such as litigation and ad hoc arbitration.
