Corruption And Smuggling On Public Distribution System In Tamilnadu

ABSTRACT

Public Distribution System is a mechanism to distribute the foods and the essential commodities at the affordable price to the people to avoid the corruption and smuggling in this administration various agencies were formed. Tamil Nadu is the only state adopted the Universal Public Distribution System were all the individuals are entitled for the subsidized commodities at the affordable price and its main feature is non-exclusion of any individuals. The non-empirical research method is used in this article .This article is mainly focused on the corruption and smuggling of PDS in Tamil Nadu and how this kinds of problems can be prevented and also discussed about the agencies that are involved in the Anti-Corruption because if any officers or staffs are involved in any smuggling or corruption or they are administrating beyond their powers the act which become Ultra Vires and it will be taken immediate action by the Anti -corruption authorities or any other agencies.
