Copyrights And Choice Of Law In The Age Of Internet

ABSTRACT

Paper follows the historical backdrop of Indian Copyright Act. Depicts different revisions conveyed out in it occasionally. Reactions of global local area to the difficulties of computerized advancements as WIPO Copyright Treaty (WCT) and WIPO Performers and Phonograms Treaty (WPPT) are introduced. The unmistakable copyright issues in the computerized time are identified. It was observed that in the Indian Copyright Act many issues are still left neglected. Changes in the Act to make it viable with the WCT are proposed.
