Comparative Study On International Human Rights Framework For Capital Punishment In India, U.S. And China

ABSTRACT
Capital punishment is a punishment which is given to criminals in the rarest of rare cases. Due to capital punishment the family of the criminals suffers a lot but on the other hand to stop the commission of heinous crimes and to create deterrence among the peoples in the society, to balance peace in the society it becomes important as well. In India the capital punishment is imposed only in the rarest of rare cases and the execution count is less as compare to the China. In Us and China there are difference in relation to awarding capital punishment in both the countries. If we look at to the laws of both the nation it would somehow appear same but in practicality there are differences in the countries. China is the country in which the killing of the criminals by the way of death penalty is thousand in counts every year. In China the numbers of death penalty is much higher as compare to US and India. This paper aims to study the international human rights framework for Capital punishment in US, China and India.
