Suhaschandra B S, Christ (Deemed to be University)

ABSTRACT

“Each country makes a different decision on adult pornography, but the good news is that even the governments you hate, hate child pornography. - Eric Schmid

People might have different perceptions about what child pornography is, it is as simple as this, adult pornography where the adults are replaced by children. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) defines anyone under the age of eighteen as a child. There’s a contrast in the background between adult pornography and child pornography, adults indulge in pornography to make money out of it while children are forced to do it and the one initiating this makes money. This paper aims to highlight the so-called behind the scenes of child pornography, the legal consequences and child rights.
