Biotechnology Patenting: The Difference Between Usa And Indian Perspective

ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to explore the impact of patents on innovation with a view to biotechnology, usage and associated efficiency of the existing patent system in promoting biotechnological inventions and related issues and challenges. The topic of biotechnology patents is covered in this article. It tackles the various issues with biotechnology patenting. This indicates a significant difference in the biotechnology industry between both countries. Both the countries are seeing major growth in the biotech sector.
