ABSTRACT

By delving into their historical foundations and current significance, the study provides insights into the evolving landscape of marital relationships. It scrutinizes legal and cultural aspects, emphasizing the transition from traditional arranged unions to greater individual autonomy in Indian marriages. The focused analysis of prenuptial agreements highlights their proactive role in addressing financial matters and minimizing conflicts. The research underscores the evolving nature of Hindu marriage, societal pressures, and the influence of public policy, advocating for a dynamic interpretation of prenuptial agreements aligned with changing societal needs.
