ABSTRACT

Audi Alteram Partem is one of the principles of natural justice which means every party should be equally heard, i.e., given an opportunity to speak for proving that they are not guilty. Later in the article research scholars stated about the expansion of #METOO Movement and how it is raising a question on Indian law and principle of natural justice (Audi Alteram Partem). The researchers stated about how the #METOO Movement started and attained popularity, what are its positive and negative aspects and also stated about how it started with a fair motto and later on it began to be a game of naming and shaming. Research Scholars stated about the importance of natural justice in the advancement of an entire nation and how natural justice is constantly getting questioned by #metoo movement.

Later researchers told about the Indian laws available for the women which are made to safeguard the rights of women at the workplace, domestically etc. By stating the laws researchers said that one should believe in the law of the nation and if that is not working then media should be a second option. The researchers suggested many recommendations like, this movement should be a movement which can reach every sector as it is only available for the women of higher section and it should turn out to be something more than just a game of defaming someone just to attain limelight. So this movement should be for all not just for few.
