Gaurav, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam

ABSTRACT

The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the Indian legal system is the subject of this study, which examines the benefits, drawbacks, and ethical implications of doing so. Legal research, contract analysis, case management, and decision-making are just a few of the ways AI has the potential to change the legal industry as it develops. However, a number of issues, including data privacy, bias, accountability, and the effect on human lawyers, come along with this transformation. This paper aims to provide insights into the potential benefits and risks of AI adoption in the Indian legal system by analyzing relevant case studies, examining the current landscape, and considering ethical frameworks.

Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Indian Legal System, AI technologies, AI Applications, AI Adoption.
