ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence has come a long way and in recent times has successfully penetrated our lives. E-commerce has gained prevalence in today's time and hence it becomes inevitable to bring artificial intelligence in consonance with the former. Operations across sectors have changed because of the introduction and adoption of technology. Significant technology advancements in e-commerce try to persuade consumers to buy goods and brands. To personalise and customise products to satisfy needs, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a crucial revolutionary tool. This study reveals how AI systems have a significant impact on shaping consumer demand in e-commerce. Chatbots help existing businesses run more productively and efficiently, and they make it more convenient for customers to shop, order, and make payments. Communication with customers through chatbots in the e-commerce space is also anticipated to grow in the future as businesses try to provide customers new shopping experiences utilising chatbots. It wouldn't be inaccurate to say that in the near future, applications of artificial intelligence would only be positive insofar as they might act as a crucial catalyst for rising and moulding consumer wants.

Keywords: Artificial intelligence, Consumer demand, e-commerce, chatbots, machine learning, personalized experience.
