ABSTRACT
This research examines the effectiveness of Somalia's counter-terrorism laws by analyzing their jurisdictional scope in terms of court, prosecutorial, and law enforcement capabilities. The study explores the legal framework governing counter-terrorism in Somalia. These laws are designed to enhance the capacity of law enforcement agencies, streamline judicial processes, and delineate clear roles for various stakeholders involved in counter-terrorism efforts. However, the effectiveness of these legal measures is often undermined by practical challenges. The findings of this research will provide a deeper understanding of the complex legal and practical issues surrounding counter-terrorism law in Somalia, informing future policy decisions aimed at strengthening the country's capacity to address this threat.
