Analysis Of Hijab Ban In India

ABSTRACT

Hijab is the religious headcovering worn by the muslim women. Hijab is worn by the muslims as their practice and devotion towards the religion and recently there had been controversy started with regard to wearing of the hijab and Karnataka Government has put a ban on the hijab. Therefore, this paper deals with the banning of hijab in Karnataka, impact of the banning, international view on the banning of hijab, appeal made to the supreme court and situation in other countries.
