ABSTRACT


The proliferation of digital technologies has ushered in an era of unprecedented data generation and transmission, raising significant concerns regarding privacy and security. In response, governments worldwide have implemented cyber laws to regulate digital activities and protect data. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of cyber laws, focusing specifically on data protection measures. It examines the evolution of cyber law, its scope, key principles, and enforcement mechanisms. Furthermore, the paper explores various international and national frameworks concerning data protection, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. Through comparative analysis and case studies, it identifies best practices and challenges in data protection regulation.
