ABSTRACT
With the modernization of crime as observed in the recent past it suggests a worrying trend which is capable of disturbing and crippling the global economy. Alarming increase in such white-collar crime and economic offences has become a major concern. Such concern and societal impact are major encouragement for this study. White-collar crime has found its footing in the history since the intersection of business and law along with innovation, moral disclosure and public perception. Such interaction has led to various policy changes which has left various loopholes for the elite to take benefit of the authority and ensure their own personal interest.
