Closheimonmi Dkhar, Royal Global University

ABSTRACT

As white collar crime is becoming one of the barriers for the country, especially doe the developing countries as this may increase a crime rate which is not a positive thing for the developing country. Through this paper I would like to draw your attention on this warm topic, many a time crime has been conducted by the high status people, and under the shade of their reputation, it will reduce the possibility of rising question against them. And they have money powers which they use for committing such types of crime. Many stern steps have been taken by the Indian government to overcome this issue like establishment of various authorities, organizations especially for this purpose only. And as per the report 47th Law commission report, as increasing in number of corruptions cases this commission authorised suggested to penalised the offence of corruptions and a reasonable penalty should be imposed on the offender. White collar crime has been done by many ways i.e. Blackmailing, Frauds, Scams, etc...

One more type of crime which is especially done by the low status people basically, in such type of crimes there might be involvement of physical force or there is low possibility of involvement of physical force in white collar crime, instead they use knowledge for committing a crime. It’s high steam we should take some stern steps to minimise such type of crime. Although government try their best but still due to high population and lack of education and awareness these types of crime has been committed.
