An Analysis Of The National Education Policy 2020

ABSTRACT

The education system must compliment the social changes. The methods of teaching and learning have evolved over centuries. As the idea of integrative and multidisciplinary learning is being adopted by the Indian society gradually, the National Education Policy was introduced in 2020 with proposals of a new education system that lays emphasis on creative, multidisciplinary and experiential learning process. This paper aims to create awareness on NEP 2020 and its provisions. It analyses the opinion of educated people on NEP and its proposals through a survey It studies the merits and limitations of NEP through the responses obtained.
