ABSTRACT

This abstract discusses the implementation of a free education scholarship scheme for professional courses in Tamil Nadu, India. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue professional courses such as engineering, medicine, law, and others. Under this scheme, eligible students will receive full tuition fee waiver and other allowances such as hostel fees, textbooks, and examination fees. The objective of the scheme is to promote equal access to education and to address the issue of social and economic inequality in the state. The implementation of the scheme is expected to improve the overall literacy rate in Tamil Nadu and to produce a skilled workforce that can contribute to the economic growth of the state. The government of Tamil Nadu has recently launched a scholarship scheme that provides free education for professional courses to students from economically weaker sections.
