INTRODUCTION
Lok Adalats are informal courts where the first impression throughout India which provide ADR designed to address the problem by bringing justice to the public. The Indian formal justice system can be understood as a portrait that is marred with economic competitiveness and the pursuit of justice which is proving to be a disappointment and dissatisfaction amongst justice seekers. Over 4.5 million cases are pending at the High court level and 33 million cases at the district court level which have been appealed and argued for more than two decades. So, this Lok Adalats concept is the most celebrated and innovative forum in alternative dispute resolution that is devised to promote rapid and conciliatory resolution of disputes. In the last few countries in the British regime, the idea of Lok Adalats was taken back into oblivion and the idea got rejuvenated regain. This has become very common with litigants and well-known. In March 1982 in Gujarat, the Lok Adalats camps initially began and now it has been spread throughout the country
