Air Pollution In Metropolitan Cities In India

ABSTRACT

Environment pollution is one of the most concerning topics nowadays. There are many kinds of pollution in our environment under which Air pollution has occupied the most prominent place. Almost all countries in this world are facing this issue. Urban areas are a more concerning part than rural areas of any nation. India is one of them where metropolitan and big cities are polluting more than other cities. Pollution levels in metropolitan and big cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Lucknow are raising and people are badly affected by poor air quality. The government has already adopted different types of constitutional, legislative, judicial and additional measures to deal with this issue but still fails to combat air pollution in these cities. This issue is increasing day by day tremendously which not only destroy our environment but also becomes a vital cause of critical health diseases in human being.
