Tavneet Kaur, LLM (International law), UILS, Chandigarh university

ABSTRACT

It is a considerable fact that education provides individuals the mobility as well as power for deciding their future and upcoming opportunities for themselves. It also invites a source of pride as demanded by the Afghan women for a long time. Many women would work for low wages in significantly poor conditions for the purpose of financing their education, and at present these efforts as well as opportunities have directly been ripped away directly impacting on their right to education as a basic human right. It has been examined that in October, the “United Nations Human Rights Council” voted in the course of approving a rapporteur considering the grounds concerning Afghanistan in the course of investigating as well as reporting violations of civil as well as human rights. It has also been recognised that the ambassador of the European Union to the United Nations cited specific concern concerning the restrictive actions with regard to the Taliban against women and their education to be particular.
