ABSTRACT
Even though the labour law is created to protect the rights of labour, the inability of the labour laws to change swiftly to the changing needs has caused undesired effects on the labourers. This paper discusses the impact of labour laws on labourers post-independence, post LPG and post pandemic. This paper also focuses on the effects of maternity benefit act on women.
