ABSTRACT

As the population is a rise the availability of water per capita is decreasing. Water use is becoming more strained as a result of Industry and Urbanization. Floods and Droughts are exacerbating water resource management Issues due to geographical and seasonal changes. Therefore, India’s major rivers are shared by two or more states. Owing to the huge regions of an India being relatively arid, techniques for apportionment of the scarce water are very essential in order to regulate the Welfare of the Indian citizens. It is mostly under the jurisdiction of the states grows and with the states exerting their legal and political Influence. In this article we are seeing the Issues of water disputes under the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over the Cauvery water rages on.
