A Doctrinal Study Of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) And Personal Laws

ABSTRACT

The present paper is based upon the necessity of uniform civil code as a tool to create religious harmony, their by encouraging fraternity as enshrined in the Constitution of India. This paper explained about the concept of the Uniform Civil Code and it’s legal perspectives and also discuss about its origin from where it has been derived from. As this is a doctrinal study, It further discuss about the various reasons of people who are agree or not agree with the implementation of Uniform Civil Code. This research paper shall try to installed that why Indians can expect now for effective implementation of Uniform Civil Code by the Indian Government. The main subject is whether our country is developed enough to introduce this common uniform civil code after getting the Independence or not. In this part it discusses how the personal laws are useful when it comes to the formation of the Uniform Civil Code. This research paper deals with the overview about the problems which are arising on unavailability of a Uniform Civil Code and the Conflicts between personal laws.
