ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to critically understand the policies of corporate environmental responsibility adopted in India. We will study what the concept of corporate environmental responsibility entails and how it is incorporated in the Indian corporate picture. This paper examines the role of various categories or corporate entities and how they encapsulate the ideology of corporate environmental responsibility. We will begin this study by understanding the meaning corporate environmental responsibility.
