ABSTRACT

The vital role that merchant bankers play in performing due diligence during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital-raising transactions is explored in this research paper. The study investigates how merchant bankers may ensure successful due diligence while defending the interests of all parties involved by utilising regulatory frameworks, techniques, and best practises. This essay aims to clarify the relevance of due diligence as a vital step in preserving openness and reducing risks in contemporary financial markets by examining its legal, financial, and operational components.
